Ian Thompson (ACA)
Ian was born and raised near Penrith and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 whilst at Saint & Co's Carlisle office. He then moved to the Cockermouth Office where he became a Partner in 1999.
In 2001 Saint & Co took on a new practice in Ambleside and Ian moved to become the resident partner at this office. He is proud to have overseen the growth of this branch from employing 4 staff to the current 11. As the resident partner Ian is the primary contact for all clients.
Ian is married to Shirley and in his spare time he follows the fortunes of the club he used to play for; Kendal RUFC.
