We’re registered auditors and can report to Directors and Stakeholders on the company accounts. Our role is to perform an independent appraisal of the financial affairs of a company or organisation.
We have a strong reputation for being thorough and acting with honesty and integrity in all accountancy and financial matters. Our audit team are regularly trained to make sure their knowledge of UK audit regulations are as current as possible.
We audit the financial statements of companies, pension schemes, charities, academies, clubs, and associations throughout Cumbria and Dumfries & Galloway. You can count on us for a fair and independent audit.
Company audit exemption
Your company may qualify for an audit exemption if it has at least two of the following:
- Turnover less than £6.5 million.
- Gross assets less than £3.26 million.
- 50 or fewer employees
However, some companies must have an audit even if they meet the rules for not having one, this may be due to a regulated industry or if a bank or other lender requires that you have audited financial statements.
Auditing for charities
An audit is one of the ways charities can maintain public trust and confidence in order to remain transparent.
We have accountants with specialist knowledge of charities and not-for-profit organisations. We can work with the trustees to ensure the accounts give a true and fair view of your financial position.
We offer an independent examination service for those charities who want or require one.
In this testimonial we demonstrate how our auditing services help keep our client compliant and manage the independent auditing process.
