- Ian Thompson (FCA)Partner - AmblesideIan Thompson (FCA)Partner - Ambleside
“We combine the professionalism of a regional practice with the flexibility and friendliness of a local firm…”
Ian has been with the firm since 1991 years and is based in the Ambleside office. He works with a wide range of clients from small startups through to well-established businesses with a significant workforce.
He believes in listening to the client so he can advise on the best possible course of action that will give the client exactly what they need.
Ian says: “We’re here to help and advise our clients, it’s not all about number crunching. We encourage our clients, and indeed any business owner to call us before making any major restructuring or financial decisions. We can often help save you time and money.”
Ian describes himself as a people person. He welcomes the latest innovations that help make accountancy services more efficient, but firmly believes that technology will never replace the value of strong client relationships.
