From Monday 4th May, today,  HMRC will begin to contact those eligible for the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS). It is also now possible to check your eligibility for the scheme online at:

You will need your UTR and National insurance number and a government gateway account. You can find your UTR on the first page of your most recent tax return. If you don’t already have a government gateway account you can sign up at:
https://www.gov.uk/log-in-register-hmrc-online-services/register

If you are eligible HMRC will then provide you with a date from which you can apply for your grant the earliest being 13 May.

The earliest payments will be made by 25 May, or within six working days of completing a claim.

The claims process is expected to be very simple, if you require any assistance or advice then please get in touch.
